HOLD YOUR HORSES BOB is a one-man-collective consisting of the melody maker Pete Smith with a little help from his friends. Formed in 2007 they went into the studio to record what eventually became the debut single "DO WHAT YOU LIKE (but don't do it here)".

Based in the surroundings of Royal Södermalm, Stockholm, HYHB is dedicated to making music in the studio and acoustic gigs at small local venues.

In October 2009 two shows were recorded for release during spring 2010 - "HOLD YOUR HORSES BOB live at LARRY'S CORNER".

The first full-length-cd - "SMALL TALKS & BIG EGOS" - will be recorded and released during 2010.

HYHB is like a resemblance of people with the love of music as a mutual friend. Like the Flying Burrito Brothers some decades ago.

HYHB is signed to the company MakeMyDayMusic. It's independent music done for independent reasons. If you like the music, you're welcome to the download page for free mp3s. However, if you value a free and independent music scene, as opposed to a market created and run by the major companies, you pay for the downloads.

And fortunately, not everyone is willing to abide by the notions of safety in sameness. The people who push the creative envelope whether in art, music, politics, or even business, do their fellow man a great service by adding facets of what's possible in life.
